MOD Contemporary Dance presents, as their 13th season showcase, "Eclipse."

MOD is a student-run club at the University of Alberta. Students across all faculties and grad levels audition and come together throughout the year to rehearse. Members began dancing at very young ages, and, while coming to university, MOD presented the opportunity for them to continue their passion for the art when they once thought it was finished. As a company, students run everything from the executive duties, to choreography and events throughout the club's year. Being one of the University of Alberta's longest standing student dance company's, MOD prides itself for the love, dedication, and positivity each member represents across the greater Edmonton Community.

Family, friends, and all lovers of dance, MOD invites you to attend their year end performance, "Eclipse". The performance presents a silent auction and additional front of house activities that help support the company to run from year-to-year. The MOD dancers have worked tirelessly every week to self-choreograph the handful of dance numbers to be presented onstage. The company specializes in all styles, from contemporary, tap, jazz, and more, for additional performances from other UofA dance teams and alumni.

Join MOD for an innovative evening of dance, as students share their passion for movement and introduce the audience to the pleasures of a 'home away from home'.

An Eclipse is the earth, moon, and sun at a singular point in time and space... Each dancer coming together in a single performance in time and space, with dances never to be seen again.
