The Edmonton Winds is an ensemble of accomplished musicians that perform the best in wind ensemble music for audiences in Edmonton and around the world. After an 18-month hiatus, the band is very excited to present a concert of familiar favourites to celebrate the return of live music! The program includes pieces by local composers Allan Gilliland and John Estacio, as well as classics of the genre such as Second Suite in F (Holst), British Waterside (Grainger), and Slava! (Bernstein). This concert is sure to make for an enjoyable afternoon for all ages!
