Work side by side with award-winning artist and television personality Lance Cardinal from the Bigstone Cree Nation. This “Mr. Dress-up'' style crafting workshop will lead your children through an exciting adventure of Cree language, art and culture!
Students will learn the teachings of the Ribbon Skirt and will be able to design and create their own miniature ribbon skirt or ribbon shirt, that they can wear to promote positive dialogue and cultural awareness. This workshop will give you all the supplies, tools and encouragement you need for success! So join in on the creative fun and learn a little bit more about the Nehiyaw people.
