Work side-by-side with award-winning artist and television personality Lance Cardinal from the Bigstone Cree Nation. His “Mr. Dressup'' style crafting workshop will lead your students through an exciting adventure of Cree language, art and culture!
Students will learn the teachings of the ribbon skirt and then design and create their own miniature ribbon skirt or ribbon shirt pin. This workshop will give them all the supplies, tools and encouragement needed for success! Join in on the creative fun and learn a little bit more about the nehiyaw culture!
Participants under the age of 11 will require some assistance.
