Join Us for Arts Exchange: Public Art 101
Public Art 101 is a professional development workshop designed to help artists and community members understand the essentials of creating a successful public art project. Led by Jacilyn Blackwood, an experienced public art project coordinator with the City of St. Albert, this session will explore upcoming public art opportunities and provide guidance on crafting tailored applications that align with the specific criteria for each call for artists.
We will also cover the public art process in detail, outlining the expectations for artists or artist teams if selected. Our goal is to demystify the process and empower you with the confidence to apply for current and future creative opportunities. There will be ample time for a Q&A session to address any questions you may have.
Arts Exchange is your gateway to connecting with fellow creatives, expanding your knowledge, and fostering a stronger local arts community. Designed to inspire and support, this event offers networking opportunities and insights to help artists and cultural organizations thrive. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the arts scene, join us as we strengthen St. Albert’s creative industry together!
Light refreshments will be provided.
