Sharing his joyful and interactive read alouds of his beloved Pete the Cat, The Nuts and Groovy Joe, students will sing along, move along, and dance along to these captivating musical stories. Eric also shares how Pete the Cat and his other characters stay positive, loving and resilient even as things get tough. This virtual program is designed to help our early childhood students stay positive, love books, enjoy reading and see themselves as readers.

Eric Litwin is the original author of the Pete the Cat series as well as the author of The Nuts, Groovy Joe and The Poop Song. Eric is also the co-author of The Power of Joyful Reading: Help Your Young Readers Soar to Success, a popular professional development book for teachers.

His books have sold over 13 million copies, been translated into 17 languages and won 26 literacy awards including a Theodor Geisel Seuss Honor Award.
